Make the cat feel at home

Adjust size, theme, text, visibility and sounds to suit your workspace.

The cat is a shortcut to your focus session as well as a visual companion. You can make it smaller, quieter or hidden to fit your workspace.

Reach the controls

Click the cat for goal and session actions. Right-click for additional widget controls. All Meoz Controls opens the full menu beside the cat, useful when the menu bar icon is hard to reach.

Drag the cat's face to move it. Use Cat Widget → Reset Position if you want to bring it back to its default position.

Adjust the appearance

Open Cat Widget and choose Cat Size, Cat Font Size or Cat Theme. You can toggle the goal banner and Meoz Sayings separately, and hide the face or the whole widget.

Passive goal and status banners are informational. Interactive intervention cards have their own buttons; use those controls when responding to Guardian.

Hide without stopping your work

Ghost Mode hides the companion temporarily. Show Cat Widget brings it back. Hiding the companion is a visual choice, not the same action as Snooze or End This Session.

The Hide on Screen Share option controls Meoz's screen-sharing visibility. Check your sharing application's preview before presenting; do not assume it hides other windows or your desktop content.

Adjust sounds separately

Open Sounds to choose a sound style, use Mute All Sounds, or open Sound Settings. Sound and widget appearance are separate choices, so hiding the cat is not a substitute for muting.

When no session is running, the resting cat is normal. Use Start Focus Now to begin, or review the next scheduled start.
